A New Album Is Coming!

I've talked about this project on my socials and some past posts on this blog.  But, now I'm making an official announcement and the official release date will be October 12!

This album combines six original songs I wrote and six more traditional railroad songs from as far back as the turn of the century.  The album also contains my single, The Painter, in honour of the Group of Seven who rode the ACR to paint the land.

It eulogizes the Algoma Central Railway that my father, uncles and cousins worked for.  I've recently reconnected with family from the area which is also where my siblings were born and it gives me great pleasure to share this with you.

The album is recorded the same way I perform, with just an acoustic guitar and Lynn singing backup vocals.  My goal is to honour the music that was written and performed simply to make sure the story can be heard.  It was good enough for Ramblin' Jack, Peter Lafarge and Pete Seeger, it's good enough for me.
